Finite element model can also be read from Nastran HDF output file using method “readFemFromHdf”. Example “RUBY/EX37/femFromHdf5.rb” illustrates this possibility. In that example, the reading of model is done as follows:

In this example, only one parameter is given to the method. This means that the residual FEM is read, but not the superelements if the model contains superelements. An example with reading of superelements is discussed in section IV.2.11.5.
