The new version of the library was released on 2026/08/14.
The code has been reviewed with the help of AI, and many bugs have been fixed. Most of them are minor, but a few more serious issues have also been resolved. The redaction of the User Manual has likewise been improved with the help of AI. All the Ruby examples have been translated to Python, COM and .NET using AI. As a result, the discussion of the Ruby examples in Part IV can help the reader understand the newly translated examples as well.
In addition, the FeResPost library has been modified as follows:
Correction of several bugs related to the CBARAO BDF card.
Addition of the method “readFemFromHdf” for reading a FEM from HDF5 Nastran files. (See section III.1.1.3.)
All the methods called “*Dictionnary*” have been renamed to “*Dictionary*”. (Correction of a typo.)
The “Group” class attribute “NbrCoordsys” has been renamed “NbrCoordSys”.
Correction of several inconsistencies between Python, COM and .NET on one side, and the Ruby library on the other. (The Ruby library is considered the reference.)
In class “ClaDb”: the methods “getMaterialsNbr”, “getLaminatesNbr” and “getLoadsNbr” have been replaced by the attribute readers “materialsNbr”, “laminatesNbr” and “loadsNbr” respectively.
